Over the weekend, the lake city witnessed a wedding that was nothing short of a fairytale. PV Sindhu, undoubtedly one of India’s most celebrated badminton players with two Olympic medals under her belt, tied the knot with Venkat Dutta Sai, an IT entrepreneur, in a celebration that spanned three days at Raffles Udaipur. Spread over a 21-acre private island in the middle of Uday Sagar Lake, this 101-bed property draws inspiration from Rajasthan’s royal heritage, Mughal architecture and European Palladian design, designed by architect Clive Gray.
